Exclusive: Alternative poster for Takashi Miike’s Blade of the Immortal

In just one week, Magnet Releasing will be unleashing director Takashi Miike's BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL, the film that earned him his 100th directorial credit, on audiences in the U.S. In anticipation of this release, we are proud to feature the EXCLUSIVE debut of an alternative poster for the film.

Based on a comic by Hiroaki Samura, BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL was written by Tetsuya Oishi and stars Takuya Kimura, Hana Sugisaki, Sota Fukushi, Hayato Ichihara, Erika Toda, Kazuki Kitamura, Chiaki Kuriyama, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Ken Kaneko, Yoko Yamamoto with Ebizo Ichikawa, Min Tanaka, and Tsutomu Yamazaki.

The story synopsis: 

Manji, a highly skilled samurai, becomes cursed with immortality after a legendary battle. Haunted by the brutal murder of his sister, Manji knows that only fighting evil will regain his soul. He promises to help a young girl named Rin avenge her parents, who were killed by a group of master swordsmen led by ruthless warrior Anotsu. The mission will change Manji in ways he could never imagine…
