Exclusive Cool Video: Movie CliffsNotes – The Last Starfighter!

JoBloJoBlo

It's the 30th Anniversary of the 1984 low rent sci-fi flick THE LAST STARFIGHTER, starring Lance Guest and Catherine Mary Stewart, and we thought it would be cool to take another look with some good ol' Movie CliffsNotes! Chock full of cheesy genre tropes, from the "chosen one" storyline, the unrequited love interest, to a good helping of weird-for-the-sake-of-weird aliens, there's plenty of silliness here, but it's all in good fun and best appreciated as the sci-fi schlock that it is. I personally grew up with this flick and remember loving it as a kid and it most definitely has its charms, even if they're mostly nostalgic. So, strap in and blast off as we give you the skinny on one of our cheesy childhood favorites!

Enjoy:

Also, let's hope this style trend never catches on…
