Kathryn Bigelow‘s ZERO DARK THIRTY is kicking up a whole lot of buzz on its way to being released. Thanks to its gifted director, a tight, engrossing script and a fantastic cast, I can assure you that the buzz is very warranted. ZERO DARK THIRTY is easily one of the best films of the year, and it won’t easily be forgotten by anyone who sees it.

Kyle Chandler and Jennifer Ehle are two key members of that excellent cast. Chandler, known best for his Emmy-winning role on “Friday Night Lights” as well as last year’s moving turn in SUPER 8, plays CIA strategist Joseph Bradley, who oversees the agency’s operations in Pakistan, while Ehle plays an entrenched operative who is part of a team of brave agents hunting for Osama bin Laden. It was my pleasure to talk to these two fine actors about their roles in this monumental film.

It was also my pleasure to deliver the news that ZERO DARK THIRTY had just won its first major critics awards, which you’ll see at the very front of the video. (Of course, since this interview it has gone on to win plenty.)
