Yo, I've been trying to land a punch on Mike Tyson ever since the 1987 release of Nintendo's Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Though it would seem that no matter how much I float like a butterfly, or sting like a bee, Tyson is always one step ahead of the game. Do you know who doesn't appear to have this problem? Jean-Claude Van Damme, that's who.

Today, we've got an exclusive clip from KICKBOXER: RETALIATION of Jean-Claud Van Damme kicking Mike Tyson's ass like it ain't no thing . Directed and written by Dimitri Logothetis, the story of the film picks up one year after the events of KICKBOXER: VENGEANCE. After swearing never to return to Thailand, Sloan finds himself drugged while training for an MMA title shot. Upon waking up, Sloan discovers that he's been taken prisoner and is being held in a Thailand correctional facility. After a bit of investigation, Sloan discovers that his abductors brought him there with the intention of forcing him to fight a 6''8" 400 lbs. beast named Mongkut. Now faced with yet another life of death situation, the seasoned kickboxer must use his skills to fight his way toward freedom.

You can check out the exclusive clip below:

Appearing alongside Jean-Claud in KICKBOXER: RETAILIATION are stars Alain Moussi, Christopher Lambert, Mike Tyson, Sara Malakul Lane, and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (GAME OF THRONES' The Mountain) as Mongkut. Set for a January 23rd release, I'm now wondering if the film could give me a few pointers for the next time that I square off against Tyson in the digital ring. Perhaps I can get my pointer and middle fingers to do that insane Van Damme signature split? For real, a move like that would definitely improve my dexterity, significantly, don't you think? C'mon, KICKBOXER: RETALIATION, inspire me! Be my Mac!
