I didn’t quite know what to expect from the original DESPICABLE ME — based on the confounding teasers it appeared to be about a dastardly supervillain and a horde of sentient simple-minded beans. But it turned out to be a fun and sweet 3D CG ‘toon, not to mention a rather profitable one.
So for all you fans of Gru and his new family, Universal and the filmmakers are indeed hard at work on a sequel, and here’s your first look at a teaser poster for the movie, still some two years away.
