Exclusive Video: I’m Too Old for this Sh*t! Supercut

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

All living creatures feel the wrath of Father Time, even your favorite cinematic characters. When I was young, I used to watch high-octane action movies and think to myself, "How old are Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Eastwood, and Glover? How do they continue to move like this? Aren't they like, old?" And then, in March of 1987, I heard Danny Glover's Liutenant Roger Murtaugh of LETHAL WEAPON exhaustively utter the phrase, "I'm getting too old for this shit." It was then that I'd felt seen. Finally, there was a character on screen that felt the same way I did. After that, I'd started to hear the phrase in even more films, and do you know what? It was funny every damn time.

Today, we've got a hilarious supercut that was edited by Matthew Hacunda, which highlights many of the films and characters that felt as if they were getting too old for the type of shit they'd been meant to deal with.

As the video plays on, we find scenes from films like the LETHAL WEAPON franchise, ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY, Disney's ROBIN HOOD, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, BLDE, BLAME IT ON RIO, CHAIN REACTION, BLACK MOON RISING, and many more!

Full disclosure here, folks. I just got done partying for six days straight while some friends were in town and I am definitely "getting tool old for this shit."

Enjoy the video!
