Exclusive Video: Our tribute to The 30th Anniversary of The Breakfast Club

It's hard to imagine my childhood without THE BREAKFAST CLUB, as it was one of those defining films that stuck with you long after it was over and drew you back again and again to experience the various characters and all their complexities. A brain (Anthony Michael Hall), an athlete (Emilio Estevez), a basket case (Ally Sheedy), a princess (Molly Ringwald), and a criminal (Judd Nelson) all met for detention on a Saturday afternoon and everything was changed forever. Director John Hughes left an indelible mark on cinema with the film, which has stood the test of time, providing an insightful, funny, and often moving look at the people we are and the people we pretend to be at the turning point into adulthood. There's much to dissect in the film, but you can also simply enjoy the camaraderie that develops when you put strangers from different social circles into the same pot just as well. With that, we present our 30th Anniversary Tribute to the film, featuring a look at the history and anecdotes from the set of one of the most affecting teen flicks ever made.

"Not. Even. Close. Bud."
