Exclusive Video: Pop-Up Movie Facts: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We're back with another episode of Pop-Up Movie Facts, this time tackling The Russo Bros. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, which should get you all caught up for this week's CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

While there was some question early on if the Russo Bros. could handle a big Marvel movie, THE WINTER SOLDIER ended up being one hell of a proving ground for the directing duo, delivering a taut, action-filled ride that no one saw coming. Star Chris Evans was back wielding the shield, joined by Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky/Winter Soldier, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow (aka the future Crossbones), Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce. Great cast in a great film and we've got plenty of pop-up facts to help you enjoy it some more.
