I’ve always been a fan of Hugh Jackman’s. Who wouldn’t be? The guy can seemingly do it all. Not only does he make an iconically badass Wolverine, but on the side the guy can sing and dance like nobody’s business (LES MISERABLES). But, I think it’s safe to say that PRISONERS tests his mettle more than anything else he’s ever done. To me, his parts as Keller Dover in PRISONERS has all the power of a great method performance, making me think that Jackman must have been holed up in a cave somewhere whenever he wasn’t shooting. To my surprise, he was in the midst of an Oscar campaign for LES MISERABLES the whole time.

For more on his experience relating to this- his darkest role- and the physical challenges posed by a non-action part, check out my interview below!
