Last month, we updated you on the status of a possession flick called EXCORCISMUS, which is being directed by Manuel Carballo and produced by FILMAX, the company behind the [REC] films. This one has a bit of a [REC] vibe, as it deals with the recording of an exorcism. Hey, as long as it’s done well, I don’t care what the gimmick is.
The film has begun casting, adding at least one name that will ring everyone’s bell: Doug Bradley, “Pinhead” himself. Other peeps joining the cast: Sophie Vavasseur, Stephen Billington, Richard Felix, and Tommy Bastow. EXORCISMUS is currently lensing in Spain, and will be an English-language film; no release date is set.
Fear is taking over the residents of the High Cross housing estate. Recently ominous things have been inexplicably taking place… and there are rumors.
The Hawkins are desperate, medical tests have ruled out any illness, and yet their 15 year old daughter Suzy is getting worse every day. Something is consuming her. Father Ellis visits the Hawkins’ every day to see Suzy. Despite his best attempts at discretion, he can’t hide his concern. What’s more, he too is scared.
