Experience The Walk with a 5-minute IMAX trailer and featurette

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

THE WALK is based on the true story of a young dreamer, Philippe Petit, and a band of unlikely recruits who together achieve the impossible: an illegal wire walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. With little more than nerve and blind ambition, Petit and his ragtag crew overcome daunting physical obstacles, betrayals, countless close calls and overwhelming odds to beat the system and execute their mad plan. Get you're longest look yet into the latest film from director Robert Zemeckis (FLIGHT, FORREST GUMP) with the 5-minute IMAX trailer!

For those looking forward to the movie, I'm sure you have heard about the documentary MAN ON WIRE that tells the true story of the events that took place. The documentary is great, but I think Zemeckis can certainly take this story and create an uplifting movie out of it. I'm not sure I can get over Joseph Gordon-Levitt's look and accent, but THE WALK is bound to be an entertaining film none-the-less. For a little sneak peak on the film-making process, check out the featurette below!

THE WALK hits theaters on October 2, 2015.
