How rad is Angela Bettis?

You know who I mean right, the girl who played the titular lead in MAY. The chick who’s appeared in more genre efforts than I can enumerate, including CARRIE (also the lead in the TV remake), THE TOOL BOX MURDERS, “Masters of Horror,” not to mention yet another leading role in the upcoming horror flick TAMORA GAMBLE. I’ll ask again…how fu*kin’ rad is Angela Bettis?

But before you give your definitive answer, consider the new flick she’s taking part in. It’s called OFFSPRING: THE WOMAN, and comes from MAY director Lucky McKee (as we noted back in February). Check out the extended plotline…

Written with McKee by Jack Ketchum (OFFSPRING):

THE WOMAN (a sequel to OFFSPRING) is the last surviving member of a violent clan that has roamed the Northeast Coast for decades. When the last of her family is killed in a battle with the police, The Woman finds herself alone, severely wounded…and vulnerable. Unfortunately, she is now a far too easy prey for local hunter, successful country lawyer and seriously disturbed family man Christopher Cleek. With his twisted set of ideals, Cleek decides to embark upon a deranged project – to capture her and “civilize” The Woman” a decision that will soon threaten the lives of Cleek, his family and The Woman.

Sounds killer right?

Pollyanna McIntosh also stars in the film, which is adapted from the upcoming horror novel by Mckee and Ketchum. The flick is set up at Peace Arch Entertainment.
