YOU’RE SO COOL, BREWSTER! is an epic documentary about the making of both FRIGHT NIGHT and FRIGHT NIGHT PART II containing interviews with almost all of the films’ key participants (with the sad exception being Roddy McDowell) – surely a treat for fans of the 80s vampire romps. An extended trailer for the doc has been released and can be found below, giving us a good long look at what’s in store.

YOU”RE SO COOL comes from the same team who brought us LEVIATHAN: THE STORY OF HELLRAISER and HELLRAISER II: HELLBOUND; major horror fans, these guys. Here’s the lowdown:

Fully supported and produced by original Fright Night writer and director Tom Holland, this documentary is the ultimate insight into the making of this cult classic movie as well as a tribute to the late, great Roddy McDowall.

The Story of Fright Night will feature detailed interviews with those who helped shape and create this much loved movie. Guided by Tom Holland the makers of this new documentary will raise the stakes and unearth the behind the scenes stories including footage and images from Tom’s personal archives.

Among the interview subjects: William Ragsdale, Chris Sarandon, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, Tommy Lee Wallace, Brian Thompson, Jonathan Stark, Julie Carmen and, of course, Holland himself. No word yet on when we’re going to see this thing, but hopefully it’s soon.
