Extra F13 on DVD

JoBloJoBlo

If you’re the sort of person who waits the three months or so between the time a movie hits theaters and arrives on DVD, or if you just prefer longer versions of what you saw at the multiplex, you’ll be in luck with the home release of the impending FRIDAY THE 13th.

Platinum Dunes producer Andrew Form spoke to Fangoria about the eventual DVD/Blu-Ray of the flick, and revealed that it will contain significantly more movie: “It’ll be 10 to 15 minutes longer than the [theatrical cut], I believe.”

And what kind of bonus bloodshed will you get for your buck? “There were a couple of story points cut out of the movie that will appear in the extended version, and maybe a little bit more violence and nudity.” Sold!

Additional footage will be both integrated into the movie and other parts included as deleted scenes.
