Arrow presenting the winners of the HORROR category.
Well it has come and gone, another Fantastic Fest is in the books. While our very own Arrow was chillin’ down there in Austin, doing double duty as a film fan and as a jury member for the horror category, the rest of us here have been waiting anxiously to find out what would eventually be the films to beat. And now that the awards have been handed it, it would appear that.. well, there are a few.
A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE (which we last talked about HERE) came away being one of the major players, nabbing Best Screenplay, Best Actor (AJ Bowen) and Best Actress (Amy Seimetz). Meanwhile, the South Korean revenge thriller BEDEVILLED (which we last wrote about HERE) walked off with two biggies: The Audience Award and Best Actress (in the “Next Wave” competition).
Read on for a full list of winners. Hopefully we’ll all get to check these suckers out soon eventually…
