Exclusive: Fatale Interviews w/ Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy and filmmakers!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

In the new suspense thriller Fatale, Michael Ealy stars as conflicted man who has a one-night stand with a mysterious woman (Hilary Swank)… We all know how one-night stands with mysterious women go, don't we? Soon enough, Ealy's character finds himself entrapped in a deadly cat-and-mouse game with the alluring – and deadly – femme fatale, who always seems to be one step ahead of him and everyone else.

Fatale comes from prolific filmmakers Deon Taylor and Roxanne Avent-Taylor, who've made The Intruder, Black and Blue, Meet the Blacks, among several others notable titles together; Deon directs and frequently writes, Roxanne produces.

The official synopsis:

After a wild one-night stand, Derrick (Michael Ealy), a successful sports agent, watches his perfect life slowly disappear when he discovers that the sexy and mysterious woman he risked everything for, is a determined police detective (Hilary Swank) who entangles him in her latest investigation. As he tries desperately to put the pieces together, he falls deeper into her trap, risking his family, his career, and even his life.
Fatale is a suspenseful and provocative psychological thriller and an unpredictable game of cat and mouse where one mistake can change your life.

We had the opportunity to talk to Swank, Ealy, and both Taylors about all things Fatale: from the atmosphere on set to which scenes were the most challenging to shoot to Swank's enjoyment of playing the bad guy. Check out the Zoom interviews below!

Fatale is out in theaters now and hits VOD on January 8, 2021.
