David Fincher is the best director working right now (I’ll fight you on that) so of course Apple sought him out to direct a commercial for their new phone, the iPhone 3GS. I’d be lying if I said that this was his greatest work, but even Michael Jordan missed a shot every now and then. We can’t expect everything he does to be perfect. In fact if I’m completely honest, I’ve had it up to here with the amount of pressure people put on David and myself about things like that. We’re people, not machines.
