Here she comes to save the day!
Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) is about to make her debut on AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. There’s nothing more exciting than seeing comic book movies and television cross worlds. This is one of the first times (and certainly not the last) that something like this will happen on the show. Think if we only had more shows that were comic centered. GOTHAM will be one but unfortunately there will be no crossovers there due to the timeline and story.
So for right now, we’ll just hope for more characters to come crashing in on the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. set.
What is Sif there for anyway? The shows executive producer Jed Whedon had this to say about the beautiful warrior and the possibility of bringing more characters in:
“We always have our radar up for ways to tie our series into the Marvel films and bringing in an Asgardian really cements that connection. Sif comes here on a hunting mission — sent by Odin — to find her arch-enemy Lorelei and bring her back to Asgard. It throws our agents for a loop when they find themselves in a fight right alongside this powerful woman from Thor’s world.”
The episode titled “Yes Man,” will air on March 11. AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs on Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
