The first look at KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE's Taron Egerton as Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards from the upcoming biopic has landed online, as well as the first image from Billy Ray's THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES remake.
Production is underway on EDDIE THE EAGLE, and yesterday Taron Egerton's co-star Hugh Jackman (who is playing Edwards' trainer Chuck Berghorn) shared an image on his Instagram of Egerton as the British skier. LOCK, STOCK & TWO SMOKING BARRELS actor Dexter Fletcher is directing the film from a script by Simon Kelton and Sean Macaulay, and Matthew Vaughn is attached to the project as a producer.
Next up is the first official image from THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES featuring Julia Roberts and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and the thriller also stars Nicole Kidman, Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) and Michael Kelly (House of Cards). Director Billy Ray's (SHATTERED GLASS) new movie is a remake of the Juan José Campanella's 2009 Oscar-winning Argentinean film EL SECRETO DE SUS OJOS, which was based on the Eduardo Sacheri novel La pregunta de Sus Ojos. While EDDIE THE EAGLE currently doesn't have a release date, THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES is scheduled to be in theaters on October 23, 2015.
