If the title SHARK NIGHT 3D doesn’t give a hint to its story, star Sara Paxton (THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT), seen up there in the Hooper position, describes the movie in the latest issue of EW: “I play the leader of the group. Everyone is going to her lake house to have fun and party and, uh, die, I guess.”

The movie also features such potential meals as Joel David Moore (AVATAR, HATCHET), Dustin Milligan (EXTRACT), Katharine McPhee (THE HOUSE BUNNY), Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz, Sinqua Walls and Chris Zylka.

Alas, don’t expect exploitation-style shredded limbs and geysers of gore, since the movie will be PG-13. “It’s very different from [PIRANHA 3D],” Paxton says. “But I don’t think people should go in expecting THE READER with Kate Winslet, either.”

The watery thrills come from director David R. Ellis (SNAKES ON A PLANE, FINAL DESTINATION 2) and attack your eyes on September 2nd.
