First sales art for Danny McBride & David Gordon Green’s Halloween!

It was only a few hours ago that we hit you guys with the first sales art/banner for Shane Black's upcoming reboot of THE PREDATOR and now we have the first sales art/banner for Danny McBride & David Gordon Green's HALLOWEEN!

You can check out the poster below which was – just like THE PREDATOR banner – spotted by Collider at the Licensing Expo in Vegas today. The art is simple as hell but isn't that in keeping with what McBride said his and Green's approach was going to be?

I like it. KISS. Keep It Simple, Stupid.

I mean, I think it is a bit too early to reveal what the new Michael Myers looks like – if they even know at this point – and if they even plan to change his appearance (if it ain't broke, right fellas?) – so this shot of an ominous knife looming in ready to stab the ass of someone is a great compromise in my eyes.

After all, if not the mask, what is the item most associated with The Haddonfield Boogeyman (copyright Mike 20017)? The massive butcher's knife, of course! That and the coveralls. But I can't imagine a poster with a set of bunched up coveralls would inspire much fanfare.

Maybe if it said Phelps Garage on the nametag. Maybe.

Anyhow, check out the first banner poster for HALLOWEEN below and then let us know what you think of this minimalist approach on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

McBride & Green's HALLOWEEN hits October 19, 2018.

Zooey Deschanel co-starred in McBride & Green's YOUR HIGHNESS.
