First Scorch Trials character poster hits; new trailer to debut on Thursday

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

THE MAZE RUNNER was a Young Adult novel-turned-film that slipped under the radar last year, but if you had the chance to check it out, you may have been pleasantly surprised. It’s LORD OF THE FLIES atmosphere and a lack of a love triangle put it in a much better position than most films of its type, and it fortunately made enough to warrant a sequel.

In the next chapter of the MAZE RUNNER story, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers search for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans. Brand new character posters will be unveiled over the next 48 hours, leading up to an all-new trailer on Thursday, July 23rd. Check out the first poster of the film’s leading man below!
