Last Updated on July 30, 2021

With his role as Jimmy Hoffa for Martin Scorsese's THE IRISHMAN now behind him, legendary actor Al Pacino is ready to introduce us to his latest character, Meyer Offerman, of the forthcoming Amazon Prime series HUNTERS.

Amazon released a brief teaser video for HUNTERS on Friday, which looks to be something of an INGLORIOUS BASTERDS set in 1977 New York City, years after the fall of Adolf Hitler. Created by David Weil and executive produced by Jordan Peele (GET OUT, US), HUNTERS centers on a team of street-level Nazi “Hunters,” who’ve discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials have secretly been living in the United States with plans to establish a Fourth Reich in the Land of the Free.

Weil and Nikki Toscano will act as co-showrunners and executive producers for the series, which has Logan Lerman (FURY, INDIGNATION) leading the series as Jonah Heidelbaum. Joining Lerman for the Nazi-stomping drama are Jerrika Hinton (THE ROOMATE, THE STRANGELY NORMAL),  Josh Radnor (HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE), Kate Mulvaney (THE GREAT GATSBY, THE LITTLE DEATH), Carol Kane (SCROOGED, THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT, Tiffany Boone (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, ONCE UPON A TIME), Louis Ozawa Chanchien (KIDDING, PREDATORS), Saul Rubinek (UNFORGIVEN, TRUE ROMANCE), Dylan Baker (TRICK 'R' TREAT, SELMA), and Lena Olin CHOCOLAT, ALIAS).

HUNTERS is expected to land on Amazon sometime in 2020, which has Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL, AMERICAN HORROR STORY) directing the pilot in addition to serving as an executive producer.
