Last night during the season finale of AMC's "The Walking Dead" 20th Century Fox unveiled the first impressive TV spot for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and just in case you missed it, we've got it on tap for ya this morning.

In theaters July 11, Matt Reeves directs DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES with Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Judy Greer and Jocko Sims starring.

“A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.”

The opening shot is nothing short of badass and I can't wait to see more from DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. July can't get here quick enough.
