Harrison Ford will not be appearing on “Crossing Over With psychic John Edward” looking to reconnect with his great-great-grandmother Beulah Ford but will be starring in CROSSING OVER an immigration drama directed by Wayne Kramer (RUNNING SCARED). Ford will co-star with Ray Liotta and Sean Penn in the film will TRAFFIC-ize illegal immigrants looking to cross over into the United States. Ford will play an INS agent staging illegal immigrant raids while Penn will cameo as a border patrol agent. Liotta plays a USCIS administrator. More cast is expected to be added shortly as there are few leads and many bit parts (like the one Penn is playing). The Weinstein Co., desperate for a hit after the GRINDHOUSE flop, will produce the film. Ford will begin work on CROSSING OVER this month before moving on to INDIANA JONES 4 in June.
