On June 4th, the world will see what happens to scientists who play God and combine the DNA of humans and animals together, forming one freak of nature that’s not to be messed with. The film? SPLICE, of course, and today we have not one but four new clips from the film for your viewing pleasure!
For those not in the know, SPLICE goes a little something like this: Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists, defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. Named “Dren”, the creature rapidly develops from a deformed female infant into a beautiful but dangerous winged human-chimera, who forges a bond with both of her creators – only to have that bond turn deadly.
If you dug SPECIES, then word on the street is that you’re gonna love SPLICE! The clips below will surely pique your interests, the big difference here: SPLICE looks a helluva lot scarier than SPECIES ever was. Nice!
