I wasn’t aware that we were calling this RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES now to better associate it with the series that spawned it, but let’s blow past that news into what we really want to see. Mother****ing apes!
We’ve seen practically nothing from this film so far, other than a few obscure set shots and one official image of James Franco in a lab (above). Naturally, the first video clip we get from the film will be close to nothing, and so it is. Behold, four seconds of CGI ape glory!
It’s pretty much a teaser of a teaser, which shows how WETA is building the apes out of pixels and Andy Serkis. It looks…well, like an ape. Do they talk in this version? Has that been established yet?
