When a simple bank robbery goes terribly wrong, a getaway driver (Frank Grillo) must figure out who double-crossed him before it's too late. That's pretty much the gist of WHEELMAN, an upcoming Netflix action-thriller which rarely leaves the confines of the car, and you can watch the recently released red-band trailer above! In addition to Frank Grillo, WHEELMAN also stars Garret Dillahunt (Deadwood) and Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire).
It's been great watching Frank Grillo dip his toe in a variety of projects over his career, including roles in The Shield, Prison Break, and Kingdom, as well as feature-films like CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, THE GREY, and THE PURGE: ANARCHY, which successfully realized the potential lacking in the first PURGE film. Here's hoping that WHEELMAN will be yet another feather in Frank Grillo's underrated cap.
