Frasier, revival, Kelsey Grammer, Paramount

If you've been waiting for a Frasier revival, Paramount Plus could soon give you what you want. However, before you start pouring drinks, you should know that the idea is in its early stages. As the story goes, Kelsey Grammer has been trying to get the show back on the air for quite some time. According to individuals close to the project, one of the problems they're having is money. The cast of Frasier was already being paid a fair bit of coin by the time the Cheers spinoff went off the air, so a question remains: How much will each actor want to participate?

A Frasier revival would certainly be a big deal seeing as the original remains one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. Need proof? The laugh-out-loud comedy won 37 Emmy Awards over the course of its 11 seasons and 264 episodes on NBC. The show starred Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frasier Crane, who moves back to his hometown of Seattle, where he lives with his father, and works as a radio psychiatrist. Joining Grammer on the show were Jane Leeves, David Hyde Pierce, Peri Gilpin, and John Mahoney. Should the concept be picked up for development, several of the aforementioned stars would be likely to make a return.

Are you a Frasier fan? Would you be down for a revival of the show or are we looking at another Murphy Brown situation?
