Notoriously media shy, Bush tormenting documentarian Michael Moore is yet again displaying his legendary, non-publicity seeking humility.
He’s decided to release his next film, SLACKER UPRISING, free online via Blip TV on September 23rd with a DVD release to follow on October 4th. As with all his previous films, UPRISING stars Moore, this time on his 62 city tour through college campuses in swing states during the 2004 presidential election attempting to rally young voters to, well, vote.
Why is he doing this? Apparently, it’s just a nice gift from Uncle Mikey to little ole us: “This is being done entirely as a gift to my fans. The only return any of us are hoping for is the largest turnout of young voters ever at the polls in November. I think Slacker Uprising will inspire (millions) to get off the couch and give voting a chance.” Aww, shucks, almost brings a tear to the eye. Check out the flick’s trailer below.
