Freida Pinto, Logan Marshall-Green to star in home invasion film Intrusion

It was way back in early 2016 when we first heard that BURIED (watch it HERE) screenwriter Chris Sparling had written a home invasion thriller called INTRUSION, and now that project is finally about to move into production. Freida Pinto and Logan Marshall-Green have signed on to star in the film, which will be directed by Adam Salky.

Salky's previous credits include 2009's DARE, starring Emmy Rossum, and 2015's I SMILE BACK, starring Sarah Silverman.

INTRUSION is about

a woman who moves with her husband to a small town in Maine after a cancer scare and becomes the victim of a strange home invasion. She begins to uncover a darkness underneath her seemingly idyllic new life.

An alternative version of the synopsis says Pinto and Marshall-Green will be playing

a husband and wife who move to a small town and suffer a home invasion that leaves the wife traumatized and suspicious that those around her might not be who they seem.

Sparling is producing INTRUSION with Russell Hollander, Creator Media Entertainment's Kyle Benn, Sea Smoke Entertainment's Josh Weinstock, EMJAG Productions' Alexandra Milchan, and Outlaw Productions' Matthew Myers.

This sounds interesting to me, and Pinto and Marshall-Green are good choices to bring the characters to life. I'm looking forward to seeing how INTRUSION turns out.
