Arya Stark is taking a break from navigating Westeros to save the world. Translated: actress Maisie Williams, who plays the plucky Arya on HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, has signed on to play the lead in the apocalyptic thriller WE ARE MONSTERS. Production company Movie Mogul Ltd. made the announcement just the other day.

The brief plot synopsis:

Lorna Thompson, a lonely suburban schoolgirl, joins a mutant gang of teenagers on a quest to discover their true identities. They uncover a global conspiracy, which they must find the strength to fight before civilization is destroyed.

“I am really pleased to be involved in We are Monsters and working with John and I can’t wait to bring Lorna to life,” Williams said.

The film is still seeking funding on Kickstarter, and this casting news will probably push them over the edge. Learn more on the film’s official site.
