Christmas is coming, and the Kringles are ready to celebrate it all year long. Briarcliff Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for Christmas at the Kringles, a new horror comedy directed by Kevin Lewis, the filmmaker behind Willy’s Wonderland. The movie stars Ron Livingston (The Conjuring), Rachel Bilson (The O.C.), Rob Riggle (21 Jump Street), Arden Myrin (Insatiable), Beverly D’Angelo (Christmas Vacation), David Wain (Hell Baby), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), and Donald Faison (Scrubs), and is coming to theatres on October 30, 2026, bringing some holiday fear to the spooky season. Christmas at the Kringles follows the Seversons, a family starting fresh in a quiet suburban neighborhood, whose next-door neighbors, the Kringles, celebrate Christmas year-round. At first charming, it quickly turns unsettling, as Mark & Julie grow concerned about their son’s growing attachment to the family. After a confrontation, Mark heads next door to bring his family home only to uncover the Kringles’ true intentions: to hypnotize and indoctrinate them. What follows is a life-or-death rescue mission, as Mark teams up with a rogue, badass Santa in a high-stakes, action-packed fight to save his family.
Kevin Lewis directs Christmas at the Kringles from a screenplay by Zack Imbrogno, writer of Apt and Slayers. Lewis previously directed Nicolas Cage in the horror comedy Willy’s Wonderland, and the new film gives him another opportunity to mix outrageous comedy with horror and action. In addition to Willy’s Wonderland, Lewis’s directing credits include The Method, Downward Angel, Malibu Spring Break, Dark Heart, The Drop, The Third Nail, The Accursed, Oak, Pig Hill, and Misdirection.
