Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden to play the Prince in Cinderella

It seems that Robb Stark, er, I mean Richard Madden is joining Lily James (DOWNTON ABBEY) and Cate Blanchett for Kenneth Branagh‘s CINDERELLA.

Madden will play the role of the Prince with James as the title character. Blanchett is playing the wicked stepmother. The film will indeed be live action. Branagh’s last directorial effort was 2011’s THOR. When it came to sign up for the second installment, the director didn’t commit. Funny enough, GAME OF THRONES director Alan Taylor took his place.

For those watching GAME OF THRONES, there’s some rather exciting and epic things coming up. This season by far has been one of the best. Not that the previous two were bad. But I feel like every episode gets better and better.

Anyone looking forward to this?
