Rose Leslie, who is best known for playing Ygritte on Game of Thrones, will be joining the upcoming haunted house thriller HAUNTED. The young actress is pretty familiar with the genre, having also appeared in THE LAST WITCH HUNTER and HONEYMOON.
HAUNTED comes from the horror genre A-team of director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 WEEKS LATER), screenwriters Chad and Carey Hayes (THE CONJURING 1 & 2), and producer Steven Spielberg (c'mon).
An adaptation of the Henry James novel Turn of the Screw, the film centers on:
a young woman who starts to work at a wealthy estate that she soon realizes is haunted. She believes that the children may be possessed and begins to fear for her life.
Leslie joins the previously cast Alfre Woodard, who will be playing a character who works at the mansion.
