Garner in X-Mas story

JoBloJoBlo

Jennifer Garner has signed on to star in a remake of the 1940s screwball comedy CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT. The updated version would have Garner starring as a Rachael Ray-like TV hostess whose publicists have perpetuated the myth that she lives a quiet family life at a farm in Connecticut with her husband and child. The truth is that she lives a lonely life by herself in a New York apartment. When a camera crew wants to tape their Christmas dinner, Garner must quickly concoct a plan to stage the perfect meal at a fake farm. Garner is about to start filming on JUNO with Ellen Page and has CATCH AND RELEASE in theaters now. Here’s hoping Garner’s madcap Christmas comedy does better than her husband Ben Affleck’s crime against humanity that was SURVIVING CHRISTMAS. Yeeikes.
