Just a few hours ago as reported by TMZ, Gary Coleman, best known as the child-actor who played the character Arnold Jackson on “Diff’rent Strokes”, has passed away. He was 42-years old.

Coleman passed from an intracranial hemorrhage (bleeding within the skull) as a result of a fall the actor suffered while in Utah recently. He had been on life support since yesterday, but was taken off of it earlier this morning at the request of his wife.

A press conference is currently being held at the Utah hospital. A rep for Coleman released the following statement: “Thanks to everyone for their well wishing and support during this tragic time. Now that Gary has passed, we know he will be missed because of all the love and support shown in the past couple of days. Gary is now at peace and his memory will be kept in the hearts of those who were entertained by him throughout the years.”
