Gary Oldman as dwarf?

It’s rare that I’d ever run a trailer from 2003 as news on this site but it seems like something that a lot of people missed (even our resident film expert Dave Davis hadn’t yet seen it), so I thought we’d give it another run.

A lot of people give Matthew McConaughey shit for his choice in movies and rightfully so. Just the Kate Hudson romantic comedy genre alone has been overdone on his resume. But this movie is too ridiculous to even make up. In fact this trailer is so bad it makes you wonder whether it’s a fake.

It’s a romantic comedy (of sort) that stars McConaughey and Kate Becksinale as a couple who fall in love. Hijinks ensue when the former introduces the latter to his family…who happen to all be dwarfs, including his brother Gary Oldman. Who’s playing a dwarf. It’s all to bizarre to even get into here but rest assured it’s real (we wrote up a little something about it back in 2003) and has to be seen to be believed. Check it out below! And yes (no joke), the film’s tagline is: IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT MATTER.
