George A. Romero’s SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD has been released via Video On Demand and in theaters, and now I think we’re just about done with this sorry excuse for a zombie movie. Except for one thing: the North American release of SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD on DVD and Blu-ray!
We told you about the initial release last week (HERE), and now we have the details as well as new cover art for both DVD and Blu-ray versions, both of which are aiming to stores everywhere August 24, 2010. So what can we expect to see? Check out some of the features below:
I’d love to hear the Romero commentary just so I can try and understand what the f*ck he was thinking when he made this pile of donkey horseshit. Was it supposed to be funny? Did he plan on using a laugh-track in the background at any point? And what the hell is up with the random masturbating scene? So many questions, not enough answers…
Be sure to pre-order your copy of the DVD HERE and the Blu-ray right HERE, and get ready for one of the crappiest zombie films ever made to hit stores this August. Oh, and enjoy the new cover art (both of which work pretty well, regardless of the film itself).
