German Splice poster is uncomfortably sick and sexy, and slightly spoilery

The German poster for SPLICE was recently unveiled, and while I haven’t seen the movie yet, methinks it’s a bit spoilery in terms of seeing what the alien chick looks like, so if you don’t wanna know yet, don’t scroll down. Also, it’s incredibly sexy… yet undeniably twisted. Seriously, I’m so uncomfortable right now it’s not even funny.

SPLICE stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley and goes a little something like this: Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists, defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. Named “Dren”, the creature rapidly develops from a deformed female infant into a beautiful but dangerous winged human-chimera, who forges a bond with both of her creators – only to have that bond turn deadly.

From the trailers and whatnot, SPLICE looks a lot like SPECIES, except without Michael Madsen and Ben Kingsley, but it still looks pretty cool regardless, and this poster at least gives you an idea of what a hot piece of ass this freak is. Ahhhh–see, there’s that uncomfortable feeling coming back again!

Enjoy the whole German poster below, and get ready for SPLICE in theaters everywhere June 4, 2010.
