Gervais sees Dead People

JoBloJoBlo

I must say, I’m kind of disappointed in myself.  The British version of The Office is by far my favorite television-based comedy of all time and Ricky Gervais’ David Brent is a perfect study in awkwardness and inadvertent brilliance. In my opinion, as far as comedic genius goes, nothing else comes close or ever will.

Therefore, I pride myself in knowing everything this guy is doing, every project realized, every ass scratched, every lager drank. I am a Ricky Gervais devotee. I was shocked then, to see this new poster of GHOST TOWN, a film starring the fluffy man in a project I’ve never heard of. For shame. It co-stars Greg Kinnear and Tea Leoni. The plot is somewhat irrelevant, but for you curious folk, it involves the British funnyman as character who sees dead people. The film is to be directed by David Koepp, the man who wrote INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, WAR OF THE WORLDS, SPIDER-MAN, and many other films that you kids have a tendency to drool over. Kobe Bryant and Lebron James beware, there’s a new dream team on the horizon. Here’s the poster.
