Get a look at the new and improved Bumblebee in Michael Bay’s Transformers 4!

Michael Bay's official site has revealed the new and improved look for another series mainstay in the fourth TRANSFORMERS film, this time being the lovable "heart" of the franchise, Bumblebee. Going for a more classic look, rather than the revamped new model used in the prior films, this is a vintage 1967 Camaro SS. I think it's pretty cool that they've chosen to go this route as it adds a bit more character to the autobots. Instead of just being a bunch of concept cars, which is still pretty slick, I think it lets the personality show a bit more. After all, the autobots can basically "choose" whatever they want to be. So, does that mean that Bumblebee has become a vintage hipster musclehead?

Take a look:

Bumblebee joins the ranks of the latest reveals of Optimus Prime, Slingshot (Corvette), and Drift (Bugatti). Will we get some villainous reveals soon (or perhaps some prehistoric ones)?  Overall, I like what I've seen thus far and although the Baytorade will flow like wine no matter what, it feels like they're getting back to the pulse of the series. It's still early in the game, but the players look good.

TRANSFORMERS 4, starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, and Stanley Tucci is set to debut on June 27, 2014.
