I’m hooked on the feeling that GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY gave me after the premiere of the first trailer. I’ve always loved director James Gunn’s quirky brain, and wondered how he would channel is special brand of odd for a comic book film. Well, I believe he nailed it.
Marvel hasn’t given us too much, and Gunn has been bombarded by fans wondering when they will get more of the rag tag group. Those of you who have been asking for more out of the film might like this set of pictures from Entertainment Weekly. Here we get looks at each of the characters along with a decent view of Star Lord’s costume. Personally, I can’t wait to see more footage from the film. My heart exploded when Blue Swede’s cover of Hooked on a Feeling started to play.

Synopsis:
This film expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits-Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand-with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
