Writer/director Chad Faust's thriller GIRL, starring Bella Thorne and Mickey Rourke, is scheduled to reach select theatres on November 20th, with a VOD release to follow on November 24th – and a few days ahead of the release, we've gotten our hands on an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film. Check it out in the embed above!
In this clip, Rourke proves he's still one of the screen's great badasses as he terrorizes Thorne's titular character.
GIRL tells the story of
a young woman (Thorne) who returns to her small hometown to exact revenge on her abusive father, only to discover someone murdered him the day before. As the girl searches for answers, she soon finds herself prey to a sinister sheriff (Rourke) and uncovers a family legacy more disturbing than she'd imagined.
Glenn Gould and Elizabeth Saunders are also in the cast. The film was produced by Thomas Michael, Shayne Putzlocher, and Sara Shaak. Jason Moring, Dave Duckett, Joe Ferraro, Jean Pierre Magro, Al Morrison, Lee Nelson, David Tish, and Screen Media's Seth Needle and Conor McAdam served as executive producers.
This looks cool to me, I'll definitely be watching GIRL before the month is over.
