In what is surely one of the most inspired team-ups in superhero history, Disney and IMAX have announced that they're creating an exclusive opportunity for fans to be among the first to see INCREDIBLES 2 on June 13th, two days before its global premiere on June 15th! What's that? You want Disney to sweeten the pot? Alright, what if I told you that this special presentation is part of a double feature in IMAX theaters? That's right, you can see both film starring the Incredible family back-to-back, and that's not all!
In addition to reliving INCREDIBLES and seeing INCREDIBLES 2 early, attending fans will receive a commemorative giveaway and a special event-only concession offer. The double feature events will take place on Wednesday, June 13th at 400 screens nationwide. Tickets are available now here.
The IMAX release of INCREDIBLES 2 will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound synonymous with the IMAX Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.
