Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Michiel Huisman to star in Irreplaceable You drama

Over the past few weeks, I've seen Gugu Mbatha-Raw's name come up time and again in relation to upcoming film projects. Whether she's preparing for her role as Plumette in Disney's live-action BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, guest-starring in an episode of BLACK MIRROR, or completing her work on the forthcoming horror mystery film GOD PARTICLE, Raw is without a doubt one very busy woman.

Today, it's been announced that Gugu Mbatha-Raw and GAME OF THRONES alum Michiel Huisman will star together in a romantic drama called IRREPLACEABLE YOU. VEEP helmer Stephanie Laing will direct with picture in accordance with a script penned by Bess Wohl. The film tells the story of Abbie (Raw) and Sam (Huisman), two lovers who are destined to be together until death got in the way.

Jonathan Tropper and Farah Abushwesha will act as the film's producers, with The Exchange overseeing international sales.
