Guy Pearce (recently so good in The Rover) and Mia Wasikowska (herself very good in David Cronenberg’s forthcoming Maps to the Stars) have joined BRIMSTONE, a thriller set to be directed by Dutchman Martin Koolhoven (Winter In Wartime).

Plot details are thin, but here’s what we have:

Wasikowska plays a heroine on the run from her past and hunted by Pearce’s diabolical Preacher.

Sidenote: I love the word diabolical!

N279 Entertainment is producing the film, with shooting slated to commence in May. We’ll bring you more details when they pop up.
