I think I just made this news item seem a whole lot seedier than it actually is thanks to using Haley Joel Osment’s mugshot, but oh well!
So Osment (SECONDHAND LIONS, A.I.), not seen in a film since 2007’s DTV feature HOME OF THE GIANTS, has now signed on to star in the coming-of-age comedy SEX ED for first-time feature film director Isaac Feder.
According to the film’s producers, the story centers on “a college graduate who dreams of teaching high school Algebra but due to budget restraints, ends up teaching sexual education, despite being a virgin. He discovers an unlikely mentor in a blues bar, a ruthless enemy in the local PTA, and a gorgeous Polish girl for whom English is a distant second language.”
Osment will next be seen later this year with hottie Alison Brie in MONTANA AMAZON (a film featuring a pretty terribly-made poster), and then next year in TRUTH & TREASON opposite the great Max Von Sydow.
