Halloween script review

Some strange news here about one of the most
anticipated horror films being made right now. If you click
here
you can head over to AICN and see a script review of Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN
done by one of their senior writers Quint.

Now here is where the strange news come in.
According to Quint, Zombie totally missed the boat on the HALLOWEEN
script. That’s right, the man who has devoted his name to horror has missed the
ball on the remake that he promised would be genuine and true to the original.

Truthfully you should read the full article by Quint
here,
but let me give you a recap of a couple of items. First off, Michael Myers is
bullied as a kid, which is what apparently leads to him becoming the monster we
all know. Second his mom is a stripper with an abusive boyfriend. Third Myers is
built like a brick s**t house as an adult, and last and worse of all ….he talks when he
kills!

I love Carpenter’s original film and was actually
looking forward to Zombie’s take on the flick, but after what I read from Quint,
I don’t even know if I want to see it anymore. Hopefully lots will change
between than and now, but I do strongly recommend checking out Quint’s article
and see what I’m talking about for yourself.
