Hans Zimmer has already started composing the score for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar

After composing the music for BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT, INCEPTION, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and MAN OF STEEL, you would think Hans Zimmer would get tired of working with a hack like Christopher Nolan. I mean, the guy is such a cookie cutter director with no original talents, why would someone like Zimmer want to work with him? Oh, because genius likes to work with genius.

While it seemed to be pretty much assumed that Hans Zimmer would be scoring Christopher Nolan's next film INTERSTELLAR, the iconic composer cemented that fact when he told Collider the following:

“I wrote something, and I’m writing that. So yes, we have started.”

Already wrote something? Wow, filming hasn't even started yet so Zimmer must be working based on what he has gathered from the screenplay and I am sure many an evening dining and talking with his buddy Nolan.

INTERSTELLAR is still shrouded in secrecy. All we know is the story will "depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding." Inspired by the theories of physicist Kip Thorne, the film was originally set to be made by Steven Spielberg. Nolan stepped in and wrote the screenplay and has since cast Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, and Michael Caine. Everything seems to be pointing to another unique outing along the lines of INCEPTION, so you will never hear me complain.

INTERSTELLAR opens in theaters and IMAX on November 7, 2014.
